Dear BNID friends,

It has been a tremendous honor (and a lot of fun!) for me to have served as the Executive Director of the Boston Network for International Development for the past two years. During this time we incorporated as a formal 501c3 organization, grew our board of directors, expanded our content and community-led events, and added more than 2,000 members to our roster. It’s been a good run!

Alas, as a PhD student in sociology at Boston University, the time has come for me to take on my fieldwork and research obligations. So, it is with some sadness that I am announcing that I’ll be stepping down as BNID’s Executive Director and will be passing the torch to our next fearless leader.

Who will this be, you ask? Perhaps if could be you!

We are now officially opening up the search for our next Executive Director.

Take a look at the job description, consider applying, and please forward it to friends, colleagues, and anyone you think could be a good fit. As always, feel free to email me if you have any specific questions.

It has been a real joy to meet so many of you over the past two years and to grow this organization alongside you. I’m excited for what’s to come for this organization and am hopeful about the future of our collective efforts to advance social justice.

Onward!

Jon

    Executive Director
    Boston Network for International Development

The Boston Network for International Development (BNID) was founded in 2004 with the goal of serving as a point of connection for groups and individuals in the Boston area who are concerned with issues of international development (ID) and global justice. BNID was re-established by Adam B. Korn, Esq. who served as BNID’s Director from 2010-2017. Through connecting with each other locally, individuals and organizations of all types – private and nonprofit, academic and professional, informational and activist – can have a greater impact globally.
