The Tanzanian Children’s Fund (TCF) works to eliminate poverty and improve the lives of marginalized children and families in the Oldeani area of northern Tanzania. With a budget of approximately $3 million USD, our goal is to ensure that all children and families in this region have the opportunity to lead healthy, secure, and fulfilling lives. Through four programmatic areas - a children’s home (Rift Valley Children’s Village - RVCV), a health clinic, educational partnerships with local schools, and an economic opportunity program - we endeavor to provide a community of 10,000 with all the tools, systems, and opportunities they need to find a path out of generational poverty. We are looking for an adventurous, energetic, and child focused individual with excellent interpersonal skills to oversee the volunteer program and assist with children’s activities. Understanding of Tanzanian or East African culture is important. RVCF is located in a rural village in Karatu District, adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Partners In Health (PIH) is looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven Finance Associate with superb interpersonal and organizational skills to join the Grant Finance team, to play a lead role in the financial management and oversight of a portfolio of PIH grants. The Finance Associate will work with staff across project teams to ensure strong financial management for projects to deliver on time, on scope, on budget and with quality standards.

TCF is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable problem-solver to join our team in Tanzania. This is a full-time contract position located at Rift Valley Children's Village near Karatu, Tanzania. The Director of Finance and Operations is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and will be a member of the senior leadership team with a direct relationship with the Board of Directors. Due to a continually changing work environment and the evolving stage of TCF, duties of this position may change during the period of employment, following mutual agreement between the Director of Finance and Operations, and the Tanzanian Children’s Fund.

This is a critical inflection point for GEC, and presents an opportunity for the new ED to build on an outstanding track record of success while exploring opportunities for even greater impact. As the leader of GEC, the ED will advocate successfully and passionately for Kitenga and a growing portfolio of Tanzanian organizations.
