Medicare & Medicaid Data Analyst

The Medicare & Medicaid Data Analyst will support the maintenance and development of Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) programmatic tools using Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) data. This role requires strong subject matter expertise with Medicaid data sources and data management best practices to oversee the ingestion, reconciliation, and distribution of managed care programmatic data across multiple systems, tools, and dashboards.

Key Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal Medicaid and CHIP managed care regulations, program implementation, and monitoring (reporting, quality measurement, network access and adequacy)
• Proven data and technology expertise with CMS’s Medicaid and CHIP programs, systems (Salesforce, DataConnect, Databricks, QuickSight), and data sources (T-MSIS, MBES, MCPAR)
• Experience with federal healthcare data standards (FHIR, CMS IT systems), data warehousing, and analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP certification preferred) and tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint)
• Advanced degree (Master’s + 5 years experience, or PhD + 4 years experience) in a relevant field
