Join MIT D-Lab for an evening with Alex Counts, author, consultant to nonprofit organizations, and founder of the Grameen Foundation. In conversation with D-Lab’s Kendra Leith, Alex will share key insights, reflections, and lessons learned from his extraordinary career in international development and microfinance that has spanned decades and continents.
To close the evening, MIT Professor Sinha will discuss his work with Project Prakash, an organization championed by Alex Counts that is working to eradicate childhood blindness while advancing understanding of the human brain.
A reception will follow. Alex’s three books (Small Loans, Big Dreams; When in Doubt, Ask for More; and Changing the World Without Losing Your Mind) will be available for purchase.
