Ethos is an organization that represents women of the African Diaspora on the distinguished campus of Wellesley College. Ethos serves as a bridge between Wellesley College and the Greater Boston community by exercising a commitment to the improvement of the education, social, and economic welfare of the historically underrepresented minorities in the Boston area.

We are hosting our 5th annual S.L.A.M. basketball fundraiser on Saturday, March 6, 2010. S.L.A.M. was established as a basketball fundraiser in support of the victims at Spelman College whose families were greatly affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. S.L.A.M. then became known as “Spreading Love Around Massachusetts” and supporting all victims of Hurricane Katrina as well as a local Boston community service agency. This basketball fundraiser is one of the few times that the entire Wellesley community will come together in support of an international service project which emphasizes the importance of our mission statement. This year, our event will be held from 12pm-5pm at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, MA.
